Jo is a Psychologist who provides therapy to adolescents (16+) and adults. Her special interest areas include anxiety, stress management, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem and identity development, and anger management. She is experienced with and supportive of clients of the LGBTIQ+ community.
Jo is passionate about supporting clients to find a sense of wellbeing and balance in living a life that has meaning to them. She has a friendly and down to earth approach to therapy and tailors her approach to suit each individual person. Jo utilises a number of evidence-based psychological interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema informed Therapy and Mindfulness. She strongly believes in a collaborative approach to therapy and the importance of creating a warm and comfortable place for clients to work through their life challenges.
