Jazmin holds a Master of Social Work, a Master of Mental Health and a Graduate Certificate in Autism. She is a Registered Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers. Jazmin works with children of all ages, teens and young adults, as well as their families. She has eight years’ experience delivering school-based social work and mental health interventions across education, disability and community settings.
She supports young people experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural challenges, trauma backgrounds, neurodivergence and school disengagement. Jazmin works collaboratively with parents, carers and schools to provide practical, coordinated support. She understands that when a child or young person is struggling, families can feel overwhelmed and unsure where to start, and she aims to provide clear, realistic guidance alongside therapeutic support.
Jazmin is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including completed training in ACT for children and adolescents, as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and DBT-informed approaches. Her sessions focus on helping young people build regulation skills, develop confidence and work towards their goals.
She has also provided specialist consultation to child protection practitioners where children, adolescents or parents and carers present with complex behavioural, emotional or disability-related needs. Jazmin is a Senior DRUMBEAT facilitator and has delivered this music-based social emotional learning program with adolescents aged 12–16, including teenage boys experiencing behavioural challenges and school attendance difficulties.
Jazmin has extensive experience working with families from diverse cultural and faith backgrounds and values respectful, culturally responsive practice.
Originally from Melbourne, Jazmin now lives in Queensland with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work she enjoys baking, cooking, spending time in nature and travelling.
She provides private and NDIS services. Medicare does not apply.
