Domonique is a General Psychologist who provides diagnostic and assessment services to children (6+yrs), adolescents and adults. These services include assessment for Intellectual Disability, Giftedness, Learning Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Adaptive Functioning. Domonique also provides adult autism assessments. Domonique is able to administer a broad range of assessments including the WISC-V, WPPSI, WAIS-IV, WIAT-III, Conners 3, CBRS and ABAS-3.
In addition to her Bachelor of Education, Domonique completed four years of university to obtain a Graduate Diploma of Psychology, an Honours year and a Master of Psychology (Clinical), finishing her studies in early 2018. She initially worked with adults before resuming working with children, in line with her roots as a registered primary school teacher. Domonique has also worked for a number of years as a Guidance Officer in public schools. For this reason, Domonique is well-placed to work with young people and their families when cognition, attentional difficulties or academic performance is a concern.
Domonique has a warm, approachable style of interaction. She has a passion for supporting families in which there is a young person struggling with schoolwork and/or general functioning. Domonique is skilled at conveying the results of tests in an understandable, jargon-free way, both verbally and in her report-writing style. Her experience within schools means that her support recommendations are realistic and achievable for teachers and learning-support staff. Domonique is able to provide services under NDIS and is a Medicare Provider.
