Catherine is general psychologist who provides therapy to adults (18+). She is passionate about helping individuals navigate their unique journeys, not only through difficult times but also to thrive beyond these. Catherine has a warm but conversational approach, supporting individuals to feel safe sharing and exploring some of their most vulnerable inner experiences.
Her special interest areas include depression, anxiety, self-esteem and identity development, life adjustments and trauma. Catherine uses a person-centered approach with an eclectic style of treatment. These include drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She is also interested in understanding the intricate link between the mind and body, and can provide EMDR therapy (with full completion of training in September 2024). Catherine believes therapy is a collaboration and will regularly ensure you are comfortable with the direction of treatment.
In her spare time, she enjoys connecting with nature anywhere there is a waterfall, going to see live music, travelling, and binge-watching reality TV!
Catherine offers Medicare, Private, and NDIS Services.
