Alex is a Registered Psychologist who works with children (6+ years), adolescents, adults, and families, offering both in-clinic and online appointments. Alex holds a Master of Professional Psychology and has experience supporting clients across a broad range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, FASD, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, interpersonal challenges, and other neurodevelopmental differences.

Alex takes a warm, strengths-based, and collaborative approach to therapy. He places strong emphasis on building authentic therapeutic relationships and creating a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported to make meaningful change. Alex brings a genuine, relatable, and down-to-earth style to his work, recognising that while therapy often involves serious reflection and practical skill-building, there can also be moments of humour as clients navigate the complex, challenging, and sometimes absurd aspects of everyday life.

His work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based strategies, and Life Coaching. Alex is particularly passionate about helping clients understand the underlying patterns contributing to their difficulties, build resilience, and develop practical strategies to improve day-to-day functioning and overall wellbeing.

Clients can expect Alex to be approachable, relatable, and supportive, with a focus on helping them better understand themselves while building the skills and confidence needed for long-term wellbeing, connection, and growth.

He supports NDIS, WorkCover, CTP, Medicare, and private clients.
