Amy is a General Psychologist who works with children (6-30)years, adolescents, families, and adults. Her areas of interests include anxiety, depression, stress management, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, academic and cognitive difficulties, behavioural concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem issues. She is also skilled in completing behavioural, learning, academic, and cognitive assessments.
Amy has a gentle, understanding, and supportive approach. She aims to respond to the individual needs of each client, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, strengths-based approaches, Mindfulness-Based interventions, and skills training. She utilises a person-centred framework and incorporates positive psychology and practical approaches to client work. Amy is an NDIS and Medicare Provider.
